Lana Del Rey is a new artist, that I have never listened to. Her song "Born to Die" is depressive. The song talks about the time before one dies and to choose how you live it wisely as we all are Born To Die.
Her lyrical style is dark and seems as if she has experienced many hardships throughout her life. Consumers who like dark music, depressive, and dissonant lyrics could appreciate her style.
